Instead of wrestling with terminals, SSH, and Docker, users just pick a model, paste a Telegram bot token, and within two minutes have their own AI assistant running on a dedicated cloud server.What worked was ruthless simplicity: a “try on us” flow with a managed Gemini key (so no API key required), Telegram as the only required input, and real-time deployment logs so users could see it come alive. What didn’t? V1 had too much developer friction (API keys + pairing codes = instant drop-off), and shipping on a preview model that got deprecated days later broke deployments.Big builder lesson: remove friction aggressively - and be careful what dependencies you bet on. 🚀<hr><h2>Community spotlight</h2>Last week we ran the Build Club x Supabase Community Meetup in Colombo 🇱🇰 and it was unreal.We brought together hungry builders for a 6-hour, hands-on app-building marathon with Supabase + Manus AI, and the room was buzzing from start to finish.⚡ Teams went from rough ideas to real, working applications, exploring AI-driven workflows and shipping faster than they thought possible.
